Paradise Valley Agadir: Complete 2026 Day Trip Guide
By OM Drive Cars Agadir OM Drive Cars Published 6 min read

Paradise Valley is the most popular natural escape from Agadir — a hidden palm-filled gorge with crystal-clear turquoise pools carved into red rock, just 60 km from the city.
How to get to Paradise Valley from Agadir
The drive takes about 1h 15min via the scenic Imouzzer road (P1001). The road is fully paved but winding — a comfortable rental car makes the trip far easier than a grand taxi. Park at the official lot (10 MAD), then hike 20 minutes down the marked trail to the pools.
Best time to visit
April to October for swimming. Avoid weekends in summer — go on a weekday morning to have the pools almost to yourself.
What to bring
- Swimwear & quick-dry towel
- Water shoes (rocks are slippery)
- 1.5L of water per person
- Cash for parking and the riverside tagine restaurants
Combine with Imouzzer waterfalls
If you have a full day, continue 30 minutes further to Imouzzer Ida Outanane for waterfalls and the famous "Honey Road" — argan, almond and wild honey co-operatives.
